Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh, a post graduate scholar from BITS Pilani is amongst the few domain experts in the area of Design, Engineering and Construction of Infrastructure / Industrial projects on transnational basis. He has a proven track record and core competency experience of 28 Yrs. in the area of Business Development, Design & Engineering, Project / Contract Management, Construction Engineering, Design Methodology, Claim Management, Dispute & Arbitration (both Domestic and International), Costing & Budgeting, Risk Management, Advancement of Tendering & Estimation models on assigned benchmarks and Team Building etc. in India & abroad.

Apart from his inherent capabilities to lead and guide the organization, by inculcating a strong sense of team sprit among the subordinates. He is diligent in keeping pace with other competitors through continuous upgradation and achievement in the field of Construction Engineering. A dynamic true professional with rich & extensive experience and has a high degree of proficiency in corporate strategic planning along with executing and spearheading administration and resource planning.

Shri R.K. Singh assumed the position of Chairman and Managing Director of the Company on 08th October 2021. In addition to the above responsibilities, as the CMD of the Company, he is deeply involved in overall functioning of the Company, formulation of its policy matters and its implementation. His inspirational and motivational qualities have added a new dimension to the Company. He substantially improved B And R’s Order Booking Position by adopting various Business Development Initiatives. He reframed the policies and procedures of the Company and with prudent Financial Management managed to overcome the hurdles and operational hindrances being faced on account of the pandemic. The organizational structure was also restructured for optimal resource management.

Prior to assuming charge of CMD in Bridge And Roof, Shri R.K. Singh, worked as Chief Engineer in Konkan Railway and undertook many projects of national importance independently and finalized the construction design/drawings of USBRL Project (KRCL Portion), KR Route Projects and other infrastructure projects of the Konkan Railway. His contribution in the design & construction of 1.315Km long bridge over Chenab (Highest Arch Rail Bridge in the world), 725m long Cable Stayed AnjiKhad Bridge (First Cable Stayed Railway Bridge in India) , 777m long continuous welded composite girders type superstructure (curved in plan & elevation) with Pre-Loaded Spring Dampers for Br. No. 43 (First Railway Bridge in India with PSD) , and other Special Bridges/structures, Station Building, Reinforced Earth Slope of 68m high (Highest Earth Slope in the world of Railway)Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link Project is remarkable and today such works turned as exhibits of excellence and pride of India. He has also been instrumental in creation and growth of the Design and Inspection Division (A Strategic Business Unit) in the Company.

Before joining Konkan Railway in July’2013, he was Dy. General Manager in RITES Limited, also a CPSE under THE Ministry of Railways and had successfully completed more than 150 design/construction projects in Asian and African countries as Specialist Expert/Team Leader from RITES/KRCL side. RITES also bagged Role Model Project of Africa Award from World Bank & ERA and given remarkable contribution in the reputation and growth of RITES during his posting in East African Countries.

He has a proven track record as an operation strategist to meet growth objectives and in leading multiple improvement initiatives within the several projects by way of providing strategic direction, diverse perspectives and a positive leadership. He is a member of several national and international societies / associations of Civil Engineering. There are several Publications of technical papers in national and international journals to his credit.

He has also been honored with several awards in his career time to time in addition to “ Dr. E. Sreedharan Award for the Best Engineer - 2015 ”.

Shri Ravi Kumar is a Post graduate (M.Tech. in Structural Engineering) from IIT Delhi and B.E from BIT Mesra Ranchi in Civil Engineering. He has 31+ years experience in EPC Projects in BHEL in areas of Project Management, Design & Engineering Management, Business development, Contract management, Engineering manager responsible as single contact for multidisciplinary large Industrial projects.

He has an expertise in Engineering of almost all types of Structures and foundation systems including Dynamic structures, foundation system for High frequency operating machines, tall Chimneys of 275m height and has resolved unprecedented Construction Challenges in India and abroad. Besides Civil & Structures, he has sound knowledge of interdependency of various Systems in Industrial projects like Mechanical, Layout, Piping, Electrical, C&I, etc. He was instrumental in winning large EPC projects under international competitive bidding including Nuclear projects Turbine Island on EPC basis and spearheaded in cost effective engineering solutions for Challenging sites. He has an expertise in Earthquake engineering and a member of BIS committee for drafting/revision of Indian Standards on Earthquake engineering. He has worked in international EPC projects in many countries as per various International standards and resolved construction challenges. He led engineering team for EPC Projects at sites with challenges of Cyclonic wind added with very soft clay of bay area and also in projects built on Ash pond over marine clay.

He has developed subordinates with expertise in their roles and has been role model in many areas. Besides his technical skills, he believed in Team building and has worked with team spirit with not only subordinates and seniors but also Clients which brought mutual trust and benefited project execution. As a growth strategy of organisation, he has continuously evolved new ways to be competitive by making decisions for overall optimization in multidisciplinary projects from basic system engineering & equipment sizing till completion of engineering process understanding well the interdependency of one discipline over other for their cost & time benefits. For meeting company’s strategic objectives, he has led teams of external reputed management consultants to deep dive in processes for improvements in organisational systems of planning, HR, competitiveness, etc. Also, he adopted new styles of organisational structures as per the need and he was instrumental in reshaping organisational structure of one of the Units to overcome the challenges. He is also actively associated with Academia for innovation and its application in Industry.

Shri Ravi Kumar assumed the position of Director (Project Management) of the Company on 15th April 2023.

CMA Nav Ratan Gupta is a B. Com., LLB, and a Fellow Member of The Institute of Cost Accountants. He has extensive post-qualification experience of more than 32 years in the core areas of Finance and Accounting with an in-depth understanding and vast knowledge of Financial, Contractual, and Regulatory issues in the field of Power Sector.

Before taking over the charge as Director (Finance) at Bridge And Roof Company (India) Limited, Shri Gupta served as a Chief General Manager (Finance) in Grid Controller of India Limited, (A Government of India Enterprise) (Erstwhile POSOCO Ltd.) And was heading the Banking, Taxation, Corporate Accounts & Audit sections and the Regional office. Additionally, he had more than 25 years of stint working with Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (A Government of India Enterprise, A Maharatna Company) in various significant positions such as Head of Finance (Eastern Region), General Manager (Commercial-Eastern Region) with exposure in Finance & Accounts such as Corporate Finance, Finance Establishment, Costing, Works and Purchase Accounting, Finance Commercial, Budget, Contract Finance Concurrence, Cash & Bank, Consultancy, EPC, PMC (Domestic and International), Formation of Joint Ventures Companies (including Financial Closure) & IPTC (Independent Power Transmission Companies), Management of various superannuation fund i.e. PF, Gratuity etc. In February 1991, his career commenced at Pyrite, Phosphates & Chemical Limited (A Govt. of India Undertaking), where he initially put his fundamental financial expertise in practice. At B AND R, Shri Nav Ratan Gupta is playing a pivotal role in shaping the Company’s financial future by driving it toward even greater success with his comprehensive knowledge, Financial strategies, and robust risk management practices. In addition to the above he has also been assigned to head the Human Resource, Legal Affairs and IT Department. Shri Nav Ratan Gupta assumed the position of Director (Finance) of the Company on 20th April 2023.

Dr. Renuka Mishra has been appointed as Government Nominee Director on the Board of Bridge and Roof Company (India) Limited w.e.f. 24.07.2024. She is presently Economic Adviser in Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India. Dr. Renuka Mishra, PhD, MA (Economics), aged 52 years is an officer of Indian Economic Service (2003 Batch). She has previously served in offices of Government of India at Office of Development Commissioner (MSME), Department of Economic affairs, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs and Department of Higher Education. Dr. Renuka Mishra has been regular author of many articles/papers published in various journals/magazines on the areas covering taxation, forestry, renewal energy, climate change and vulnerability of women.

Shri Aditya Kumar Ghosh, Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Heavy Industries, has been appointed as Government of India Nominee Director on the Board of Bridge And Roof Co. (India) Limited (B&R) by the Ministry w.e.f.11.6.2021. Shri Ghosh has an experience of more 30 years of service and served in different ministries and departments Viz. Ministry of Law & Justice, Income Tax Settlement Commission, Department of Post, Ministry of Defence, Department of Financial Services in various capacities.

Ms. Chandrani Gupta is an officer of 2007 batch of Indian Economic Service in the rank of Director. Ms. Gupta has joined Bridge And Roof Co. (India) Ltd. with effect from 11.11.2021. She holds an M. Phil degree in Foreign Policy Studies from University of Calcutta and completed Master’s Degree in Economics from the same university. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance from Symbiosis, Pune. Prior to this assignment, Ms. Gupta has served in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Textiles and Ministry of Labour & Employment.

She is an Honours Graduate in Commerce from the esteemed University of Calcutta, a Fellow Member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (FCS) and an Associate Member of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI). During her tenure of about twenty one years of service in the corporate world, she has worked in various capacities in reputed organizations, among which are:

• Usha Martin Limited – for about 3 years- Joined as Management Trainee as per requirement of ICSI and then promoted to Assistant Officer.
• Schenker India Pvt. Ltd. (The German Logistics company) – for 1 year- as Accounts-Executive cum Credit Controller
• Magma Leasing (Fincorp) Ltd. – for 2.5 years- Asst. Manager- Banking Operations in Treasury Department
• Bridge And Roof India Ltd. (A Miniratna PSU) – for almost 15 years till date.

She started with Bridge And Roof in 2007 as Asst. Company Secretary and was soon promoted to the position of Company Secretary in 2010.
